Biography

Jane (she/her), based in Minneapolis, Minnesota, is an interdisciplinary artist blending glass, acrylic painting, and textile in her artistic practice. With a master’s degree in Art History and Museum Studies, she draws inspiration from historical and cultural settings, such as museums, community events, and travel.

Reflecting on her understanding of the interplay between the artist and the surrounding world is crucial for her in understanding the interplay of glass, acrylic, and textile mediums. Her playful approach aims to invite viewers to explore their own version of how fine art and traditional craft converge. As she continues her artistic career, she hopes to explore uncharted territories of interdisciplinary practice.
